IFTTT Indicator/Notification

What's the difference between starting a new recipe as a notification vs an indicator? If I choose notification, it never shows up on my LaMetric. I even went through all my recipes and redid them as notifications.

Unlike IFTTT Indicator App with Display Notification you don’t need to install any additional apps on your LaMetric device. Just choose the device to display notification on when creating recipe.
Display notification will be hidden from the screen of LaMetric Time once the message is scrolled out.

To use it please make sure your device runs firmware 1.6.1.

Same issue. Since I added the Indicator to my scrolling apps, Notifications are never displayed. I also went through all Applets to check the settings were right.
