Spotify through speakers ... how?

Just got my LaMetric clock. One of selling points for me was that it can play Spotify through its speakers.

So I have set up the app and connected the clock to my network. Downloaded about three apps for Spotify, but for the life of me I don't know what to do after that.

There is no instructions. On the clock I select the Spotify app and added my login details ..... ok nothing happens. Press the Action it looks like it is connecting to Spotify as after a few moments a Tick appears..... ok now what? nothing happens. Pressing the action button again again just comes with a tick. Left and right butttons just selects the the other apps.

I am stumped. (sorry if I have missed something dumb but there is no guide, so I am going on guesswork)

Just got the notice that we can now stream Spotify through TIME.  Email stated to just select "TIME" from the "Devices Available" list in the Spotify app, but I don't see TIME as an option.  I've confirmed that my phone and my TIME unit are both on the same WiFi network.  Please advise.

I had the same problem, after disconnected and connected the power all was good

And the implementation was very poorly thought through as a) there is zero security/access control for Spotify streaming, and b) there is not even a way to turn off Spotify streaming until security/access control is implemented.

Consider a wifi shared environment. Not some residence, but corporate, school, less sophisticated hotspot at coffee shop or similar, less sophisticated motel/hotel chain, etc. -- currently, anyone at all on the wifi network can play Spotify from anywhere.  I am not talking theoretical -- this is how I learned about the Spotify streaming feature at our corporate office i.e. when one of our employees accidentally blasted their music at a quiet office. Careless is the most polite term that comes to mind.

This needs to be fixed immediately.  At the very least allow Spotify streaming to be disabled immediately until proper controls are implemented.

I had the capacity to associate with our visitor accounts which did not require confirmation for some time, however I think this has now been refreshed so you need to give some fundamental subtleties... email address and telephone number, so essay writer is falling over as it can't give these straightforward subtleties.

What do I do if I have got the phone on the Android platform? Is there a chance to use the application and get the same features? I know it won't help you with your dissertation abstracts writing or something but it should do what it is aimed at.
